Graduation Milestone

Hillspring’s Sprouts Preschool held its annual graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 22nd. Due to concerns about new carpeting being put in the Hillspring Sanctuary, graduation was held in the gym this year. A total of 35 students graduated the program this year and will be moving on to Kindergarten in the Fall. The ceremony began with the graduating students walking down the aisle to a platform where they stood in their caps and gowns. They said the pledge of allegiance and sang and danced to a song called “Go!” by Yancy. One by one, each graduate had their name called and they collected a certificate from their teacher. This ceremony took several days of practice and the involvement of all the lovely Sprouts teachers. What began as a week of last-minute changes and stress became a beautiful ceremony of accomplished 4 and 5-year-olds and their proud parents, teachers and Hillspring family.
