Meet the Sprouts Director, Lindsey!
Background: • Lindsey has been a member of Hillspring for many years and is very excited to be a part of the staff at her home church. She grew up in the small town of Benton City and later moved to an even smaller town called Springdale. Her senior year of High School she met her husband and High-School sweetheart Josh.
In 2002 Josh and Lindsey moved back to the Tri-Cities. They have 2 boys Brodie, 18 and Rowdie, 13. In her free time she likes to go to antique shows and be outdoors with her family. Lindsey believes all children learn differently and that’s what she loves about Sprouts. She also loves teaching each child about the love of Jesus Christ.
What I like most about the Sprouts Preschool: This community at Hillspring walks with Christ. I’ve joined a team where we all support each other in doing the Lord’s work. Together we are building a community all in the name of Jesus.

3-Year-Old Classes & 3/4 Combo Class
Play-based-learning
Learning through play, instructional teaching, and independent centers.
Cognitive Learning
Name recognition and writing.
Letter name, sound, and recognition along with movement (Jack Hartman)
Number recognition, writing, counting, sorting, grouping comparisons.
Fine motor & gross motor skills
Specials - Art, Bible, science, music, and movement.
Social Skills
Learning to take directions.
Playing with their peers.
Manners.
Learning from Peers with mixed age group (3/4 combo class)
Pre-K Classes
In addition to the above:
Introduction to sight words.
introduction to first reader books.
Scissor work.
Meeting criteria for ready-for-kindergarten standards.
Other learning opportunities at Sprouts
Once a month a themed physical education held in our full-size gym for all Pre-K classes.
Exploring nature on our 16-acre campus.
Student assessments are done three times a year to show growth and conferences are held to communicate with parents.
