The Living Nativity

Many community members know about the Living Nativity that we at Hillspring put on every year, but have you ever wondered what it takes to put it together? Between the cast, crew and volunteers, there are hundreds of people who contribute to the production every year. We have people who provide food for both the people in the production and the animals. We also have costumers, grocerie buyers, cooks, outdoor guides, parking attendents, hot cocoa makers, cookie runners, ushers, ticket takers, Stephen Ministers, people who design and run the lights and sound, not to mention the cast for both the inside and outside scenes! Additionally, those in the inside scene have a lot to do with the set construction. We have church family members that bring livestock and the church leadership rent the camels that come all the way from Idaho! On top of the people that put the whole thing together, we have about 6,000 community members that come through just to experience what we are able to put together. Nativity is a prime example of our values at Hillspring. We want to bring people together so that they can live, love and grow in order to become more like Jesus. We are so honored to be a part of this community’s Christmas traditions for decades and look forward to the decades to come. Thank you to everyone who participated!
