Serving with hearts full

Volunteers prepare to serve at Mobile Market

At Hillspring Church, we believe in living out God's love through acts of service. Our volunteers are the heartbeat of this mission, participating in activities that uplift our local communities. One of the most impactful ways we serve is through our partnership with the Second Harvest Mobile Market.

Every first Thursday of the month, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Hillspring volunteers join the Second Harvest team to distribute food to our neighbors facing food insecurity. These moments go beyond handing out groceries—they are opportunities to share hope, compassion, and connection.

Our volunteers don't just offer their time; they give their hearts. Whether they’re setting up for the event, bagging vegetables, managing traffic flow, or loading boxes of groceries into cars, their dedication shines through. Month after month, Second Harvest expresses gratitude for our unwavering commitment, and our volunteers consistently brighten the days of those we serve.

Full hearts at Mobile Market

We are incredibly blessed by the relationships that grow from this work—both with each other and with the community. I truly believe God presents us with opportunities to uplift and encourage others. Many visitors express their thanks, and we’re often met with smiles and kind words that lift us up, too.

As you browse these photos, we invite you to join us in this meaningful mission. It’s not just about distributing food; it’s about making a real difference in our community and strengthening the bonds within our church family. Together, we can continue to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
