Plans for hope and a future

Hillspring family,

I wanted to take a moment to share a little update from my heart as I step into a new season here at Hillspring. As many of you know, I’ve had the absolute joy of serving as Children’s Ministry Director, and my love for children and families has only grown deeper through that role. Teaching, nurturing, and helping children experience God’s love has always been a true passion of mine.

Recently, God opened a new door for me as I transitioned into the role of Preschool Director of Hillspring’s Sprouts Preschool, and I couldn’t be more grateful. I want to sincerely thank God for trusting me to continue serving families in a way that so closely aligns with what I love most—children and learning. It truly feels like one of those moments where you can clearly see God’s hand at work.

This transition has felt incredibly peaceful, and I believe that’s because God laid every detail out so perfectly. I know with full confidence that Kirsten Brault is doing an amazing job leading Children’s Ministry, and one of our amazing teachers, Ms. Jenna, has stepped into my Sprouts classroom with so much care and excellence. Knowing our kids are so well-loved and supported made this shift easy and joyful.

I’m also deeply thankful to Hillspring for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to step into leadership at Sprouts Preschool. This school has such a special place in my heart, and I’m excited to continue building a nurturing, faith-filled environment for our youngest learners and their families.

On a more personal note, this season of change has also brought growth to our own family. We recently welcomed a foster baby into our home, and through this transition, God made space for us to provide a safe, loving place for an infant who needed it. It’s been a humbling reminder that when God calls us into change, He often has purposes far bigger than we can see at first.

I’m incredibly grateful for the way God has woven all of this together—for my family, for Sprouts, and for Hillspring. Thank you for your prayers, support, and encouragement as we continue walking faithfully into what God has next.

With a full and grateful heart,

Josie Salazar
