Our After School program at Eastgate Elementary hosted by Hillspring is growing and Gogh-ing!

A typical day at the After School Matters program (ASM) would include a snack, outdoor game (weather permitting) and an indoor activity before the students get picked up. Tuesday’s indoor activity included 35 students and 9 volunteers making their own Vincent Van Gogh- inspired oil pastel masterpieces.

Recently, former students of the program who have aged out have come back to Eastgate to be student volunteers. The ministry and created an environment that students in high school wanted to come back to and volunteer their time with. Thank you to all who support this program and make After School Matters a fun-filled, educational, safe space for the students of Eastgate.
