Carpet Fiasco Turned Blessing

Mid March brought Spring and… water damage. We had a flood in one of the Sprouts Classrooms, causing us to have to rip out the carpet in the downstairs classrooms. The Sprouts Teachers and their spouses along with the wonderful Janelle (Hillspring’s lead custodian) were able to pull up the old carpet and trim, clean the floor underneath, and move all the furniture out. Classes were temporarily moved to the Sunday School rooms in the sanctuary. But there was a new problem: we needed carpet! Thanks to a VERY generous donor, Sprouts received 5,000 sq. ft. of new carpet and trim for the preschool. What started as a stressful situation, was turned into such a blessing!
