The Quad W Interns are here!

We are so excited to announce that the QuadW interns have arrived and are officially settled into their rooms! This first week has already been full of adventure and inspiration. We’ve been busy exploring the beauty of the Tri-Cities, from taking in the breathtaking views of the Columbia River to getting our first taste of that classic dry summer heat!

As part of their orientation, we visited two incredible local organizations we’ll be partnering with this summer: B5 (the refugee center) and United First Methodist Church. These visits were more than just introductions—they were powerful reminders of the work ahead and the meaningful difference our interns can make in the lives of others.

What’s planned for them this summer is centered around community transformation through service. From helping lead Day Camp and Camp Cana to engaging in hands-on ministry with local partners, these interns are stepping into opportunities that will impact both our community and their personal faith journeys.

But just as powerful as the structured plans are the unwritten parts of their experience—the friendships they’ll form, the spiritual growth they’ll encounter, and the lessons they’ll learn from each other. This team of passionate young adults has a deep desire to serve, many of them planning to pursue careers in missions or ministry.

You’ll be seeing their faces around on Sundays and at many of our summer events. Please don’t hesitate to walk up and introduce yourself—they would love to meet you! And if you’d like to get to know them even better, consider hosting them for dinner one evening. It’s a great way to welcome them and show them the heart of Hillspring.

Let’s surround them with support, encouragement, and love as they serve alongside us this summer.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”
