Tailor Made by a Loving God

At the beginning of my Pastoral journey, I took a Spiritual Gifts class.

Looking back, this class not only helped me but empowered me and changed my life. It helped me to see a bigger picture of the unique way God had designed me and equipped me for the calling He had for my life.

Knowing my spiritual gifts let me embrace the area of Congregational Care and Women’s Ministries. The Apostle

Paul reminds us:

“There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them”

(1 Corinthians 12:4).

It encourages me to know that women in the New Testament played an active and vital role in the day-to-day function of the church. Women were involved in countless other ministries, together with service to their families, according to their respective spiritual gifts.

I love the fact that the Apostle Paul often referred to women as his “fellow workers.” He especially acknowledged those who had labored hard for the gospel. The spread of the gospel in the early

Christian church involved the participation of ordinary people in the work of God. Whether Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female—kingdom ministry became the responsibility of all.

With this in mind, I want to invite you to join us for our next Women’s Bible Study God.Gifts.You. This study will take you on a journey to discover your unique calling and design. We will look at examples in Scripture, explore motivations and interests, and review gifts.

If you are interested in joining our Women’s Ministries, we would love for you to join us for a Women’s Tea on April 30th at 6 pm and our new Bible Study God.Gifts.You.

The Tea Party and Bible Study can help us to become more like Jesus through the work of the Holy Spirit as we connect with the people God has put in our lives, develop meaningful relationships, and change the world for good.

Hope you can join us!

Blessings,

Grimelda Sanchez
