Give me something good to eat!

Over 600 pounds of candy donated for this year’s Treat ‘n Trunk!

A big thank you, Hillspring Church, for helping the Eastgate community celebrate a fun and safe trick-or-treat experience again this year! Thank you so much for your candy donations and participation! Here are some quick facts about Treat'n Trunk this year:

Your candy donations added up to just over 600 pounds! This is in addition to the two bags each car brings to start with.

Lamb Weston and volunteers handed out 800 fry boats from their French fry truck!

Thank you Lamb Weston for donating boat loads of French fries!

Along with candy, we passed out 2100 finger lights to the kids for extra fun!

Volunteers handed out 20 gallons or 450 cups(!) of warm cider!

Between Hillspring, After School Matters volunteers, and Eastgate staff, there were 45 decorated trunks and people in costume to hand out candy to over 1,000 kids and their families!

Preparing the flow of traffic in the calm before the storm!

Bring on the trick-or-treaters!

Lined up around the block for Treat ‘n Trunk!

It’s fun to get candy but even more fun to give it away!

We are so thankful for our partnership with Eastgate Elementary through After School Matters and the generosity of the people of Hillspring!
