When asked what the most important commandment was, Jesus said, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” – Mark 12:30-31
Translation: It’s not all about us!
AND, because it’s not all about us, we choose to live differently. We intentionally look beyond ourselves into our homes, schools, communities, cities and world understanding that we are all uniquely wired and called to share God’s love wherever we are!
We ask the tough questions, we look to discover and grow in our God given gifts, talents and passions, and we purposely step into opportunities to use and share them knowing that we are “blessed to be a blessing!” Some of the unique ways we do this is by giving each of our High School Juniors the opportunity to take part in a vision trip in Honduras through m25 and to be a part of the International Justice Mission’s Global Prayer Gathering in Washington DC during their Senior year of High School.
