I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys.
I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs.
Isaiah 41:18
Who we are
Live
As followers of Jesus, we pursue life as God intends. We are on an ongoing mission to discover our part in God’s story and join in God’s work in the world.
Love
We celebrate the joy that can be found only through nurturing authentic relationships.
Grow
We are committed to growing in our relationship with God and becoming more like Jesus.
What we believe
Throughout history, communities have used creeds to express their beliefs. One of the earliest creeds within the Christian community came to be known as the Apostle’s Creed. This creed serves to connect us with those who have gone before us, keep us grounded in the present and inform us as we move forward!
The Apostle’s Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again
to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church*,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.
