LIVING NATIVITY

The little shepherd boy was cold, tired and hungry. Then his parents dragged him off the hill in the middle of the night, abandoning the all-important sheep, to see some stranger’s baby.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FORWARD TO:

The song of hope that came as a babe in the manger transformed that shepherd’s life, as it can yours. Experience the Living Nativity at our traditional telling of the Christmas story, with performances from Dec. 19 through Dec. 23 in south Richland.

The local cast features Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus, angels, Roman soldiers, majestic kings, and shepherd families. Live animals — including camels, sheep, cows, horses and donkeys — help tell the story. The Living Nativity journey begins inside the church, but be prepared to bundle up as the Christmas story concludes dramatically outside around the manger.
