“If I can stop one heart from breaking, I shall not live in vain; If I can ease one life the aching, Or cool one pain, Or help one fainting robin, Unto his nest again, I shall not live in vain.”
– Emily Dickinson
Background: I have worked with children as long as I can remember, babysitting, teaching Sunday School classes, working as a nanny and working in a dental office. When my kids were all old enough to be in school, I started subbing in preschool and fell in love with it, taking a permanent position there the last three years. I am so excited to be joining the Sprouts family this year as a lead teacher! My husband, Dan and I are both originally from Salem, Oregon, married almost 17 years. We have three daughters- Katie (13), Abby (9) and Allison (6). We lived in Richland after college, moved to Ohio for 8 years and are happy to be back in Tri-Cities since 2015. I enjoy reading, coffee, music, cooking, building forts with my kids, hosting friends and family in our home, taking road trips and spending time outside with my family camping, fishing, and exploring.
What I like most about the Sprouts Preschool: It really does feel like a family.
Favorite Movie: “The Count of Monte Cristo” (2002) with Jim Caviezel
AHA Moment: Going on mission trips thinking I was going to change the world, but coming home humbled and the one that had been changed for the better.
